State-of-the-art facilities

In recent years, UCLan has invested over £100 million in new buildings and facilities to enhance teaching, learning and leisure activities: the £13 million Olympic-standard Sir Tom Finney Sports Centre; the £12.5 million JB Firth building, which houses the University’s renowned forensic science, chemistry and fire engineering courses; the £5.3 million Allen Building which includes the School of Dentistry and the School of Medicine; and the £15 million ‘Media Factory’ which incorporates state-of-the-art facilities for digital media and performing arts students and business incubator facilities.
